Designer, Pia Rönndahl
When Pia Rönndahl holds a paintbrush in her hand, it moves frantically over plates and dishes. She completed her training at the Industrial Art College in Göteborg and since 1981 she has been decorating china. Pia’s love of flowers is evident in the Sundborn and Mårbacka dinner services. Her work is displayed at the National museum in Stockholm and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Sundborn
One of Rörstrand’s best-loved tableware services. Swedish National Romanticism in the form of porcelain, as someone said. Named after the home of Sweden’s popular 19th century artist Carl Larsson and created by Pia Rönndahl, Sundborn is decorated with the warmth, harmony and floral motifs that have become hallmarks of Pia’s design.
